Experts in women's reproductive healthcare, The Women's Medical Center of Rhode Island puts you first with care you can trust. Founded in 1979, we have 30 years of experience providing safe, confidential and respectful pregnancy termination services to women in Rhode Island and throughout New England. Our Center is a State licensed Ambulatory Surgery Center with Board Certified physicians and nurse anesthetists. We are affiliated with Women and Infants' Hospital and serve as a teaching facility for the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University.

Our focus is on providing every woman we serve with the information and support she needs to make an informed choice. We individually tailor our services to best meet each woman's needs. All in a comfortable and private setting. Our bilingual staff speaks Spanish as well as English.

Safe – Our team of health care professionals has worked together many years and stays up-to-date on the best available care options for pregnancy termination. We have the expertise needed to treat women with complex medical histories and are able to treat most women with conditions like asthma, diabetes,epilepsy,hepatitis,thyroid disorders, blood disorders and heart murmurs.  Our clinicians are well respected locally and nationally, and we are active members of the National Abortion Federation and the Abortion Care Network.

Confidential – Your privacy and comfort is our top priority. We fully comply with all Federal Privacy Laws and HIPAA, and train our staff in our confidentiality policies and procedures. Our Center is located in a comfortable and private setting; we have our own building with complimentary parking that is minutes to downtown Providence and easily accessible to major area highways.

Respectful – We understand decisions about pregnancy are not easy and there are many reasons women choose abortion. Our staff of phone counselors, physicians, nurses, counselors and assistants treat every woman with dignity, respect and compassion.
